Here for intermediate rent: BioRegioFair

Schaufenster Zwischenmiete
Shop window with information on fair consumption

The project named Here for intermediate rent: BioRegioFair enabled the inhabitants of five different model-towns to learn about various aspects of sustainable food consumption. The idea was to use empty shop windows in rural areas of Baden-Württemberg as a show room for sustainable nutrition as a topic. The shop windows were decorated together with locals during action weeks, with educational materials like exhibition posters. In this way, we showed the positive effects of seasonal, regional, fair and organic food consumption. Examples of regional agricultural products (e.g. Alb-lentils, potatoes), as well as products from the global south (e.g. coffee, cocoa) were used as examples.
