Make Fruit Fair! - Decent Work, Fair Supply Chains and Sustainable Development

Logo MFF

The demand for tropical fruits is growing and so is the power of supermarkets and multinational fruit companies. At the same time farmers and workers in the tropical fruit sector suffer from unfair working and trading conditions. To change for the better, governments, supermarkets and companies have to get active.
With the international campaign ‘Make Fruit Fair!' finep demands for better social and environmental standards in the tropical fruit sector. Together with 18 partner organizations from Europe, America and Africa we ask for decision makers in the political as well as the private economic sector, to commit to enforcing living wages and fair prices, to comply with human and labour rights and to protect the environment.
