“Pooling resources” – this was the aim of a concept for neighborhood work in the city of Esslingen. The various providers of neighborhood work were to be integrated.
finep supported the Neighbourhood Coordination Office in designing the process and facilitated workshops with key stakeholders. Through this participatory approach, the concept was able to take into account the knowledge and concerns of local professionals while establishing a common quality standard for which the supporting organisations share responsibility. The Neighbourhood Coordination Office drafted the concept, which was adopted by the city’s Social Committee in May 2024.
