The DEAR project Global Districts is committed to fostering an inclusive society and shared responsibility for sustainable development – with a particular focus on rural areas. It targets disadvantaged young people, especially girls and women, and supports them in their engagement through coaching and training with innovative participation methods.

As part of the project, methods and activities are developed that are specifically tailored to the requirements and needs of the target group:
- Development of creative, interactive educational activities together with young people, e.g. by means of casual learning educational installations
- Creation of a guideline on global citizenship education for multipliers
- Workshops, training courses, events, debates, including on intersectionality and gender equality
- Further education, subgranting for other groups, organisations and those active in the field of education
- Advocacy at local, national and EU level to promote extracurricular education
- Social media campaigns (for Instagram)
