finep developed an analysis and strategy for the future of Düsseldorf’s Eine-Welt-Arbeit on behalf of the Eine Welt Forum Düsseldorf. At the heart of the project was a scenario-based approach that deliberately takes into account the uncertainties of future conditions.
Based on interviews with key stakeholders, finep first developed potential future scenarios for Eine-Welt-Arbeit in Düsseldorf. These were jointly reviewed, refined, and consolidated in a series of participatory workshops. Through an iterative process, this resulted in two coherent future scenarios, which were discussed with the board of the Eine Welt Forums and compiled into a report.
The scenarios served as a strategic working basis for the Eine Welt Forum Düsseldorf in organizing a future workshop and making a board resolution.
