Within a DG INTPA-funded consortium project across four Southeast Asian countries, the lead co-applicant dropped out in the first year. This development, combined with the need to find a replacement partner, made urgent revisions to the application unavoidable. In an initial step, responsibilities, activity schedules, budget adjustments, and other aspects were clarified in a virtual workshop with all partners. finep coordinated the preparation process and liaised directly with the individual organisations, providing BfdW with regular updates. The amendment request was approved, safeguarding prior investments and allowing the project objectives to remain within reach.
