Initiated in 2022 by the Berghof Foundation and BMZ, the “Global Learning Hub for Transitional Justice and Reconciliation” supports international partnerships and promotes practical exchange, joint learning, and networking. Its mission is to contribute to the sustainable transformation of violent conflicts through dialogue, mediation, and peacebuilding. As a network of conflict transformation organisations across 4 continents, the Hub highlights the importance of communication, collaboration, and mutual understanding.
Together with the Berghof Foundation, finep developed and facilitated a workshop aimed at reflecting on progress, results, and collaboration within the Global Learning Hub, while also clarifying roles, processes, and communication. The workshop further defined goals and joint activities for the upcoming project phase, providing the foundation for a new funding proposal. During the 2-day event in Sarajevo, finep focused especially on using participatory methods that encouraged active involvement, strengthened commitment, and helped to build trust among participants.
