Development of an application to the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF)

IPSO is a non-profit humanitarian organisation specialising in mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS). Through its culturally sensitive short-term intervention, Value Based Counseling (VBC), IPSO supports people affected by displacement, migration, or violence. In one project, an innovative digital approach was designed to significantly lower the threshold for accessing support services. For the development of the proposal, IPSO sought finep’s assistance.
Together with the client, finep has developed an innovative project that strengthens psychosocial support for citizens with a migration background. This project was submitted as an application to the BAMF, which manages the EU funding for the AMIF program in Germany. Over a period of three months, finep provided intensive support in developing a project outline into a full proposal. During the virtual collaboration, activities were designed on digital whiteboards, consistency checks were carried out, and writing plans were created. The application was successful, and funding for the project was approved.
